Barolin + Spencer is…

… a full service marketing communications agency serving clients in automotive, industrial, consumer, and B2B markets.

Ever since we started in 1988, we’ve tried to keep the right balance between “best practices” and “out-of-the-box thinking.” Our clients have called us innovative, service-oriented, and budget savvy. They’ve also called us late at night to talk about ideas, problems, and last minute crises.

What do we mean by full service?

Take a look at the range of our work. Since we cover so many of the marketing bases, our clients benefit from a single source that can meet a full range of marketing, sales support, and brand building needs.

Can we help you?

To answer the question, we first have to learn about you – your company, product, services, and markets. If you can give us a bit of your time, it’s likely that we can make a real contribution to your efforts.

Take the first step.

For companies bringing automotive parts and accessories for vehicles into North America, AIA can provide business intelligence, access to opportunities, and assistance in navigating the business environment.

Who we are

We’re a small group, and we rely on people with broad talents. More than one client has been surprised at the wide range of work we’re able to provide with our team:

Anthony Barolin

Tony came to marketing from the Media world, as a former editor with Chilton. These days he’s responsible for account management, public relations, media planning, and new business development, as well as contributing to social media, creative, and events.

Joel Spencer

Joel started in marketing on the creative side having worked as a designer, art director, and the director of broadcast production at Nutrisystem. He now leads creative strategy, is managing partner, and is responsible for new business development.

Susan Spencer

Sue came into marketing via a career in packaging and POP sales. Today she’s responsible for management of media and day-to-day interaction with media reps, and she keeps the office running by holding down finances and human resources.

Paul Young

Coming to B+S from an in-house stint at Verizon, Paul has been with us since 2005. While he’s our lead online developer, he also does a little of everything, including design, photography, video editing, database management, and custom programming.

Pete Ceran

Pete Ceran has been a designer for print and online at B+S since 2011. When he’s not managing and monitoring social media and paid search (PPC) campaigns, he can be seen behind the video or still camera, coding for email campaigns, handling video storyboarding and editing. If there’s time, he’ll take on the design of print, online, and out of home.

Eric Sarver

An experienced graphics and package design wizard, Eric holds down responsibilities for print and online design and production. He also takes the lead in fulfillment of ad creative for media campaigns. Have a question on packaging structure or the technical aspects of packaging artwork? See Eric.

Jake Spencer

Jake Spencer is the newest member of the team. Having interned in marketing posts at the Society of Hospital Medicine, the Philadelphia 76ers, and Southco, he now is putting his talents to work in media outreach, copywriting, social media, and creative development. He’s occasionally seen on YouTube, moonlighting as a headless product spokesperson/demonstrator.
