DETAILS: USA Tolerance Ring’s frictional fasteners offered an inexpensive solution for a myriad of design and assembly problems, but most design engineers had neither heard of them nor understood how they work.
B&S developed a complete editorial on Tolerance Rings, including text, photography, and illustrations, and was able to place it with Assembly Magazine with a readership of over 40,000.
Response was immediate – calls began coming in for more information the same day the issue was first delivered. The cumulative response made this editorial feature the single most successful marketing activity the company had ever undertaken.
